Amid Struggles, I Thrive (REFLECTION)

As the first quarter of Grade 10 comes to an end, I've learned some important lessons that have influenced both my writing and creative abilities. We studied the internet evolution, pioneers, and the world of blogging throughout our lessons. Out of all the lessons I've learned, the one that has affected me the most is how to create and manage a blog. This experience allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings more freely, and it also made me feel comfortable sharing it online.

But there were problems along the way. Mental blocks that I had when trying to create new content for my blog were one of the largest problems I encountered. I felt like I had ideas, but it was really difficult to express and write them. Additionally, poor time management wasn't helpful. There were times that I felt overwhelmed by my pending schoolwork, struggling to complete them on time. Although this quarter wasn't easy for me, it pushed me to face these problems.

To address these challenges, I realized I had to change my strategy. Instead of forcing myself to write new content for my blog even if I don't have clear objectives or ideas, I started outlining and brainstorming my ideas first before writing them down. I also started to organize and manage my time well, allowing me to set a time for other tasks. With these changes, it helped me to focus and finish my schoolwork without any problems.

Moving on, I'm determined to get better at managing my time and creating content. Based on what I've learned, I want to improve my blogging technique as well as stay free from the stress that comes with putting things off. I'll carry the experiences and learning from this quarter with me, and I intend to keep believing in myself while I seek my academic goals.

Greener for a Cleaner Tomorrow (THEMATIC)

In a world where the impact of our behavior on the environment is concerning, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the mess we've caused. But, we can be the change. Instead of adding problems, we can contribute to the solution. The National Clean-Up Month reminds us how much beauty and life itself our planet has given us, and it is our responsibility to give it back. Even small efforts can help us balance and protect our environment. Before it's too late, let's take on the challenge.

Although planting a tree can seem insignificant, its significance goes well beyond today. We planted trees, but we did more than just adding greenery to the landscape, we made an investment in the future. These saplings will develop into massive trees that can benefit us in many ways, including the absorption of carbon, providing shade, and resources. Every tree planted represents hope and a living testament to our dedication to restoring balance to the environment.

Sometimes, making an impact begins right where we are. We, together with other clubs and organizations led by the SSLG, participated in a clean-up drive to pick up trash that had been scattered all over the campus. It's not just removing and collecting trash; it's about promoting a sense of accountability for our environment and taking back our environment from pollution and setting an example for others to follow. With every piece of garbage we picked up, we took a step closer to the cleaner, greener future we all aspire to.

Learning in a setting that embodies connection with nature is somehow encouraging. We were creating an environment where knowledge and the environment could coexist when we cleaned up the park at our school. Interest and appreciation for the natural world are encouraged by a neat and organized environment. It serves as a reminder that even in the tiniest spaces, responsibility for the environment begins.

Every action, no matter how tiny, helps to achieve the bigger goal of protecting our world. We are all part of the solution, whether it is picking up trash on campus, planting trees, or keeping areas hygienic and sustainable. Because the environment deserves nothing less, let's continue to work together to create a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
